MotoGP GP Spain Jerez Repsol Honda – Luca Marini concluded the Spanish Grand Prix held in Jerez, the fourth stage of the 2024 MotoGP, in 17th position.

Despite a good start, Marini complained about contact with rivals which caused damage to his bike. This compromised his pace in the race, resulting in a wider gap than expected, especially compared to teammate Joan Mir. Looking ahead, Marini highlighted the importance of the tests scheduled for the following day, not only to face future challenges, but also for the upcoming races. While acknowledging Mir's good work, Marini stressed that there is still work to be done to reduce the performance gap.”

“It was a really tough race. At the beginning I started well but then there was a lot of contact with the rear and we suffered some damage. When I tried to find my rhythm, I was much slower than I expected and the gap to Joan Mir was too big. We have to figure it out and luckily we have the test tomorrow. It will be important not only for the future but also for the next races. Joan certainly had a good race, but we are still far away."
