MotoGP | GP Jerez Day 1, Mir: “Day in line with what we expected”

MotoGP GP Spain Jerez Repsol Honda – Joan Mir closed the first day of testing for the Jerez Grand Prix, fourth stage of the 2024 MotoGP, with the 21st time.

A weekend in line with Honda's current state does not discourage the Spanish rider who sets realistic goals for the Andalusian Saturday.

“Today was in line with what we expected after the first races. Unfortunately we are struggling to get around here. We managed to make a good change with the bike setup in the afternoon and I feel we can get to mid 36 (improve by a second ed.): it's a realistic target with a little here and a little there. I felt better in the afternoon and I think this time it's a realistic goal, so let's work with the team for this."
