MotoGP Gp Australia Phillip Island Warm Up – Maverick Vinales wins the Warm Up of the Australian Grand Prix, seventeenth stage of the 2019 MotoGP.

The Yamaha rider stopped the time at 1:29.498 ahead of an excellent Aleix Espargarò on the Aprilia and Jack Miller, on track with a special livery for the home GP.

Fourth time for Marc Marquez ahead of Fabio Quartararo and Andrea Dovizioso. Franco Morbidelli finishes with the seventh fastest time and precedes Alex Rins on Suzuki and an excellent Francesco Bagnaia. Danilo Petrucci completes the top ten.

Valentino Rossi is out of the ten and finishes eleventh. The Pesaro native was one of the few to contest the entire session with the same set of tyres. Behind #46 Andrea Iannone is one second behind and three from the top.

Not very good for Johann Zarco who finished 17th, while the difficulties continued for Lorenzo, only 20th.

At the end of the session, the drivers immediately prepare to return to the track to compete in the qualifying session which was missed on Saturday due to bad weather.
