MotoGP | GP Austin Sprint Race, Bezzecchi: “I struggled”

MotoGP GP Austin Ducati VR46 Racing Team – Marco Bezzecchi finished the Sprint Race of the Grand Prix of the Americas, third stage of the 2024 MotoGP, in thirteenth position.

Starting from the fourth row of the grid, but stuck in the brawl of the first corners, Marco closed the first lap at the back of the group in P18. Able to impose a good pace in the second half of the race, he climbed up the rankings to 13th place.

“A really complicated race from the start: I started well, but then, in traffic, to avoid Pecco, at turn two I suddenly had to brake. I collided with Alex Marquez and broke a piece of the fairing. Without a wing, the bike is very unbalanced and I found myself at the back of the pack. I struggled, but I managed to get back up. The pace isn't bad and I hope to do better tomorrow.”
