"The race pace saw us among the three fastest" added the rider from Rimini
GP Austin MotoGP 2024 Ducati – Enea Bastianini closed the first day of testing for the Grand Prix of the Americas, third stage of the 2024 MotoGP, with the eighth fastest time.
Bastianini remained in the top positions for almost the entire duration of the afternoon session, but was unable to improve in the final. His time of 2:02.144 still earned him a place in the top ten, which is essential to be able to aspire to the front rows in Q2, which will start tomorrow at 11am local time (15pm in Italy).

“I'm quite happy with today, especially with the race pace which saw us among the three fastest. In the time attack there is room for improvement and I feel that it is the point where I struggle the most. It must also be said that in the last outing I suffered from the presence of a rider ahead of me and there was a lot of traffic on the track. I hope to go faster tomorrow and starting from the front will be very important. We continue to work and give our best, improving step by step.”
