MotoGP GP Argentina Johann Zarco – Johann Zarco was also present at the press conference preceding the Argentine Grand Prix, second stage of the 2018 MotoGP.

The French driver in Qatar, after starting from pole, led the race for several laps and then succumbed to tire wear, finishing in eighth position.

As Zarco himself admits, it was all experience acquired and which will be useful starting from the GP on the Termas de Rio Hondo track, characterized by a very abrasive asphalt.

These are the words of Johann Zarco: “I'm happy to have led the race for several laps. I didn't know if I could do it. But then we changed several things and I found a good set-up. The strategy was the one I use. If I can stay in front I try to stay there. I like running like this. It's a shame to have finished eighth. The tire didn't hold up in the end, but here we'll see how to manage. I like this track, I won in Moto2. It's a nice track, I like it and now I have more experience which will allow me to choose the tires well.”

The Frenchman then spoke about doping control: “With so many variables it is difficult to know if there is doping but it is right that there are more controls. Although in my opinion there aren't many riders who use it because I don't think it gives an advantage."
