MotoGP Press Conference Argentina GP – Valentino Rossi spoke during the press conference preceding the Argentine Grand Prix, second stage of the 2019 MotoGP.

The Yamaha rider spoke about the last race in Qatar and what he expects from Argentina, a track like Termas de Rio Hondo, where he has collected 78 points in five editions, with a victory in 2015. He also spoke about the Ducati and the "spoiler" of discord (Click here to find out more).

“The Qatar race was positive in the end, I was fast at the end. However, we struggled in practice and qualifying, I didn't have a good feeling. From one circuit to another, however, everything changes: weather, asphalt, layout and this is a particular track. We will try to start well to get ready for the race. We hope to be lucky and be able to race in the dry, but the forecast is not the best. However, we will have to be good at improving the whole package, we are not yet as strong as we would like to be."

RIVALS

“In Qatar, starting from the back, I followed various bikes and it was interesting. We have to work on the package and improve our potential.”

DUCATI SPOILERS

“I honestly haven't followed much, we have to think about ourselves and work hard to be stronger. In recent years Ducati has always been very competitive, it might be smart to follow what they do."

TALENT EXCHANGE

“I would love to be able to write a book. “Mystery” books, meaning those where there are murderers, this type of book.”
