MotoGP GP Argentina Alma Ducati Pramac – Danilo Petrucci was also present at the usual press conference preceding the Argentine Grand Prix, second stage of the 2018 MotoGP.

The rider from Terni finished in fifth position in Qatar, the goal before the start, but which left a bad taste in the mouth.

On 09, due to a mistake in the last corner with seven laps to go, he lost positions and was unable to attack fourth position at the end. For Argentina “Petrux” is excited and despite the various unknowns he thinks he can do well.

These are the words of Danilo Petrucci: “I'm happy with Qatar, my goal was to stay in the top 5. I would have liked to reach the podium but there were several riders in the race who finished in front, then I made a mistake and was overtaken. I pushed in the last laps but it was not possible to catch Cal. It was a good start to the season, I hope I can continue well here. I've always been fast here, but I wear the tires too much. This makes the second part of the race difficult. This year the key will be to manage the tires well. I have to be able to adapt and I miss the track. The conditions are not clear and there are many variables.”

The Terni native was then asked what he thinks of anti-doping controls: “There are few controls and it's strange. We should do as in other sports it would be right."

Petrucci then told a little anecdote about who was the first MotoGP rider he ever met: “My father worked in MotoGP and when I was one year old I took a photo with Loris Capirossi. I remember him holding me in his arms next to Gresini. It was 1991 and I wasn't very clear.”
