MotoGP – For Bridgestone Stoner is the strongest
Bridgestone plays a predominant role, at least on a numerical level, in MotoGP. Eleven drivers to support, at least one for each manufacturer. All Ducatis, Suzukis, Kawasakis, two Hondas and one Yamaha. We try to give the same package to everyone, there are no preferences towards some drivers or manufacturers. A policy of equality which, however, does not prevent Hirohide Hamashima, responsible for the development of Bridgestone two-wheel racing tyres, from praising one of his most representative riders. Indeed, the one who brought Japanese tires to the roof of the world: Casey Stoner.
“Casey is racing now with great conviction”, Hamashima told MCN. “I think he was sure he would win at Losail, and he did. Over time and with victories he has become confident and convinced of his abilities and has a more strategic vision of the race. Now I am convinced that Casey Stoner is the strongest rider on the track.".
So no declaration of circumstances: for Hamashima Stoner is simply the strongest, data in hand. Stronger than everyone, even Valentino Rossi. Bridgestone driver, let's remember…
