MotoGP – Estoril Free Practice – Casey Stoner: “We could have been faster”
di motogpsbk29 October 2010
Despite the fourth time Casey Stoner is not particularly satisfied with the first day at Estoril. The Ducati rider expected to be faster, even if he has already identified the areas where he can make his Desmosedici work better in view of tomorrow.
“We are aware that today we could have been faster, but we had some problems finding good grip in the lean. When I straighten the bike everything is fine, but when cornering we are still not right. We also need to improve braking. Having said that, in general we are quite satisfied because the feeling was good despite the challenging weather conditions which, among other things, seem to remain this way for the rest of the weekend. We have some work to do but for now I feel reasonably confident.”
