MotoGP: Ducati doesn't stop, tomorrow at Misano still on track with Rossi
Battaini, Hayden and Iannone were also on track on the Romagna circuit
After the splendid second place achieved at Misano with Rossi, the Ducati will take to the track again tomorrow (Monday, ed.) on the Romagna track in full force. The test was initially scheduled to have Nicky Hayden try the new material but he is not yet sure whether he will be able to get on the GP12 Evo with the new frame and swingarm.
In fact, Kentucki Kid suffered a lot during the race due to his injured hand, so much so that he said "Anyone who has never used carbon brakes with a Bridgestone front is unlikely to know what it means to tighten the brake lever of a MotoGP today. Every couple of laps I had to slow down the pace a little to allow my hand to recover."
Also on track was test rider Franco Battaini and most likely also Andrea Iannone (on the podium in the Moto2 race), who had tested the Borgo Panigale red bike at Mugello last week with excellent chronometric results (he was even faster than Rossi).
Here are the words of Team Manager Vittoriano Guareschi in this regard.
“We are very happy because we did a good job both two weeks ago in testing and on the set-up of the bike during the race weekend and we managed to put Valentino in a position to obtain an excellent result. Vale was able to express his potential even in the dry, and manage the race well until the end. We needed confirmation on this new chassis in a comparison with the others and today we had it. Nicky did the best he could do in his condition, his hand is definitely still not in order and he had to have painkiller injections to be able to run. However, it was very important for him to return after a four-week break and tomorrow, depending on how he feels, we will see if he will be able to ride together with Valentino in the tests."

Having Iannone ride too is an excellent idea!! Well done Ducati.
This time, however, it is hoped that the times will be officially timed and disclosed publicly!
Otherwise, what will we argue about? :-)
I'm joking, obviously!
I'm also curious to see both Vale and Iannone at work together with official times. Good job. However, I think, regardless of the results, that Ducati
It's growing and I'm just happy.
