MotoGP Assen, Free Practice: Valentino Rossi “Good session, we are only 4 tenths from the first”
The Pesaro native is going strong on one of his favorite tracks
Valentino Rossi closes the first day of free practice with the 8th fastest time, just 4 tenths behind the fastest of the day, Ben Spies. The Pesaro native immediately seemed more on the ball than his usual standards, but it's all Ducati that seems to be going strongIn fact, Hayden finished today's free practice even better than Valentino, 3rd faster than the Pesaro rider by 3 tenths.
“It was a good shift – Rossi said to Sportmediaset – we are all very close, Ducati is doing well, we are only 4 tenths away from the leader. We're doing pretty well with the new tyres both me and Nicky, but after a few laps they wear out and the bike starts to slide too much, we will have to work to resolve this problem tomorrow. I did the time on the hard tire and I really think I will choose this one for the race. I like Assen a lot, certainly until the radical modification to the circuit they made in 2005 it was the most beautiful track in the world, but even now it is a great circuit and I also like turn 6 that they changed this year”

from first to 11th I'm half a second, this track doesn't lead to big gaps, and in any case thanks to Pedrosa who pulled you...... other than Barbera hahahahhaha
but did you see that pedrosa wasn't shooting on that lap and that they were 3-4 meters or more away??? and then why is it that when he does it he was smart and if he does it red you all attack him... coherence guys we need coherence...
And come on, the bike is pure performance, unfortunately we wear out the rear tire too quickly and I think that for the race we will be among the leaders for half the race, let's hope for low temperatures! Congratulations to Rossi and Nicky, Ducati is competitive here!
I think Rossi has very little to be happy about, his only good time was in the wake of Pedrosa, the other laps were all above 1:36.
Let's at least hope it helps him wake up.
