Yamaha MotoGP GP Argentina QP – Valentino Rossi, after being forced to compete in Q1 to access Q2, achieved the seventh fastest time, third row, in the Argentine Grand Prix, second stage of the 2017 world championship. The Yamaha champion sees the glass half full after all the problems experienced in free practice and remains confident for the race which will start tomorrow evening at 21 pm Italian time. The word is up to him.

“This morning we made some pretty big changes and in the first run I went quite well, then the rain ruined our plans. Fortunately it continued to rain even in the afternoon and even if it wasn't as incisive as last year, we managed to improve – said Valentino Rossi – In Q1 I did a good lap at the end and I passed into Q2 by a few thousandths and then I pushed and in the end I finished seventh, third row, nothing special but the way things had turned out it could have been even worse. We still have to improve, let's see what the weather will be like tomorrow.”

Rossi then spoke about the race, which should be held in the dry. “We still have to improve but we weren't bad in the dry, I hope it's either full dry or full wet, all dry or all wet.”
