GP Argentina MotoGP Free Practice 3 – The third free practice session of the MotoGP class at Termas de Rio Hondo began with the news that Michelin's new front tire with a soft compound, but with a harder casing, will not be tested by the riders after the Safety Commission on Friday evening.

The tire was brought after criticism that the tire was too soft came primarily from Valentino Rossi, but also from Andrea Iannone (to find out more click here).

The session was characterized by drops of rain that began to fall 16 minutes from the end, with none of the big riders excluded from the 10, able up to that moment to improve their time, including Andrea Dovizioso, Valentino Rossi, Dani Pedrosa and Jorge Lorenzo.

All the drivers returned to the pits, with the hope of those excluded from the luxury class being able to return, which however did not happen, given the increase in rain.

We will therefore have a very intense Q1, with only two places available to access Q2, places that will be contested by Andrea Dovizioso, Valentino Rossi, Dani Pedrosa, Jorge Lorenzo, Scott Redding, Johann Zarco, Hector Barbera, Jack Miller, Tito Rabat, Alex Rins, Pol Espargaro, Bradley Smith and Sam Lowes.

There will be 22 "titles" on track in these unusual Q1s (9 Rossi, 5 Lorenzo, 3 Pedrosa, 2 Zarco, 1 each for Dovizioso, Rabat and Pol Espargarò), don't miss the live broadcast of the qualifying that you can follow here.
