MotoGP Argentina: No tire for Rossi, against Marquez, the Espargarò brothers and Lorenzo
The Safety Commission unanimously approved the ban on the new tire
MotoGP Argentina Michelin – The third free practice session of the MotoGP class at Termas de Rio Hondo began with the news that Michelin's new front tire with a soft compound, but with a harder casing, will not be tested by the riders after the Safety Commission on Friday evening.
The tire was brought after criticism that the tire was too soft came primarily from Valentino Rossi, but also from Andrea Iannone.
The tire had not arrived in time due to the transport strike and there are rumors on paddock radio that those who took sides against this tire (which according to them would have favored Rossi) were Marc Marquez, the Espargarò brothers and Jorge Lorenzo.
The "word" now passes to the track, the FP3 of the Argentine Grand Prix is underway.
