A crash on the second lap knocked Honda's reigning champion out of action
MotoGP 2015 Repsol Honda Aragon Race – After conquering pole position yesterday complete with a track record, Marc Marquez was expecting a great race. Unfortunately for him, a fall on the second lap while fighting with Lorenzo for first position eliminated him from the race. A heavy zero, yet another of a difficult and forgettable season.
“Today I can only apologize to the team and the fans, because we worked very well and had a good rhythm throughout the weekend. On the second lap, when braking at turn 12, I made a mistake and lost the front – said Marc Marquez – It was my fault and I apologise. When a season doesn't go as you would like, everything goes wrong, but there are still four races to go and we will try to be at the front and fight until the end."
