GP Spain Jerez MotoGP 2024 Ducati – Pecco Bagnaia experienced a two-sided Day 1 in Jerez, scene of the Spanish Grand Prix, fourth stage of the 2024 MotoGP.

The two-time MotoGP world champion worked a lot with the team after Austin to try to resolve on paper the chattering problems that had slowed him down at COTA.

In the morning session he tried hard to get himself right and in the afternoon he pushed himself to get the best time of the day. Here's what the Piedmontese driver said.

Pecco Bagnaia Statements Day 1 GP Spain Jerez MotoGP 2024

“We focused a lot on what hadn't worked well in the last few races and carried out a lot of data analysis. The team did a huge job before this Grand Prix and together we planned this first day as if it were a test, and it worked. We managed to resolve a lot of things with three exits to go, the last one on used tyre, and I'm really happy because we needed it – I missed this feeling. Obviously it won't be easy anyway, even in this new situation, but at least we have the potential to be able to fight with more confidence."
