MotoGP Gp Australia Phillip Island Sprint Race – The weather was a great protagonist on Sunday at Phillip Island.

The class race Moto3 was the only one held regularly, while that of the class Moto2 was stopped after nine laps with the score halved and the MotoGP Sprint race was cancelled.

In addition to the rain, it was the strong wind that caused the race to be cancelled. We remember that the "long" race was brought forward to Saturday precisely because the weather forecast was very pessimistic.

Yesterday the "long" race was won by Johann Zarco (first victory in the Top Class) and Pecco Bagnaia and Fabio di Giannantonio took the podium, while Jorge Martin who had chosen the soft rear tire was in the lead until a few corners from the finish, then finishing fifth due to deterioration of the rear tire.
