IRTA Test Sepang Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP 2022 – Franco Morbidelli, despite the clock not being on his side, said he was quite satisfied after the end of the second and final day of MotoGP testing in Sepang.

The Italian-Brazilian driver has in fact improved significantly compared to yesterday and was unable to test the time-attack given the rain that fell 4 hours before the end of the test. Here's what he said “Soft”.

Franco Morbidelli Statements Sepang Test Day 2 MotoGP 2022

“Unfortunately we couldn't do the time-attack scheduled for the afternoon due to the rain, but we improved a lot compared to yesterday and this is positive. We have made some interesting 'moves' while reconfirming others. I also tried the new frame but I didn't like it very much. In the morning we lapped well, the grip was better and my pace was similar to that of Fabio (Quartararo). In the afternoon, however, he went faster. We have to try to improve when the grip drops and we'll have to see how I go with the new soft tire in the time-attack.”

“I leave these tests with half a smile, because I got back on the bike, I felt quite good physically and today with the mediums, especially this morning the times were similar to those of Fabio, but I wasn't able to do the time-attack and also because with less grip I lose 4/5 tenths, it's too much.”

“I think there is only one way to go fast with this bike and that is to ride it hard. Everyone has their own way of going fast, you have to find your own method and the right setting so that the bike allows you to do what you want."
