MotoGP | German GP Warm Up: Marquez leads the Ducatis
The pole man was also the best in the warm up of the German GP
MotoGP GP Germany Warm Up – The Warm up of the MotoGP class German Grand Prix was interlocutory, the riders found a track that was only partly dry (it rained during the night, ed.) and a decidedly lower temperature compared to the tests, 13° in the air and only 16° on the asphalt.
In these conditions, with the track practically dry at the end of the session, the fastest was Marc Marquez, who set the best time with a time of 1:23.116.
The pole-man preceded the Ducatis of Jack Miller (Ducati Pramac), Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) and rookie Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Pramac), trailing by 0.190s, 0.312s and 0.336s respectively.
Fifth time for Stefan Bradl (replacing the injured Jorge Lorenzo aboard the factory Honda), sixth for Danilo Petrucci (Ducati Team) and seventh for Yamaha rookie Fabio Quartararo (Team Petronas).
The other rookie, Miguel Oliveira (KTM), is eighth and ahead of his brand mate Pol Espargarò, the Yamaha of Maverick Vinales, the Honda of Cal Crutchlow and the Suzuki of Joan Mir (who had a technical problem at the beginning of the session) .
Valentino Rossi (Yamaha) achieved the thirteenth fastest time, while Franco Morbidelli (Yamaha Petronas) was eighteenth. Andrea Iannone (Aprilia) and Alex Rins (Suzuki) preferred not to take risks, as given the mixed conditions of the track, they did not complete even a timed lap.
