MotoGP GP Malaysia Sepang Honda Repsol Day 1 – Marc Marquez did not go higher than the thirteenth time on Day 1 of the Malaysian Grand Prix, the eighteenth and penultimate round of the season, which will end on November 17th in Valencia.

The #93 of the Repsol Honda Team worked on the setting of his RC213V, also testing a lever-operated rear brake, positioned immediately above the clutch lever.

The gap doesn't seem to worry too many of the six-time MotoGP champion, even though both Yamaha and Ducati are always strong on this circuit.

Also a great "rescue" for him after the front steering of his RC213V crashed. Click here to see the video.

Statements Marc Marquez #93 Repsol Honda Team GP Malaysia Sepang Free Practice

“Today was a challenging day, right on the first or second lap of the day I made a big 'save'. It was probably one of the best of the season, but then a warning came on on the dashboard of the bike and I went back to the pits. The team fixed it quickly and in the end, it wasn't a big problem and we were able to work normally afterward. This afternoon we worked on the race pace and it wasn't bad. The Yamahas are very strong, Quartararo set a great time and qualifying won't be easy for us, but in terms of pace we are second or third. The team is focused on the end of the season, but we also have an eye on 2020 and tried a few things.”
