Alex Rins set the best time in the second free practice session of the Moto3 class in Valencia. The Spanish driver of Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 in fact lapped in 1:40.489, a time that was only 13 thousandths better than that set by world leader Luis Salom, the fastest in FP1.

Third time for Maverick Vinales, 91 thousandths off the top. These three riders are also the ones who will compete in the world championship on Sunday. In fact, Salom has a 2 point advantage over Maverick Vinale and 5 over Alex Rins.

Behind them in this round were the German Jonas Folger, on the Kalex KTM of Team Aspar, the Australian Jack Miller, on the FTR Honda of Team Caretta Technology – RTG, Efren Vazquez with the Mahindra and the Malaysian Zulfahmi Khairuddin with the KTM .

The best of ours as well as this morning is Niccolò Antonelli, who however loses one position compared to FP1, eighth instead of seventh.

Romano Fenati with the FTR Honda of San Carlo Team Italia is twelfth and behind the excellent Ana Carrasco, the only representative of the fairer sex. The other Italian drivers are Matteo Ferrari fifteenth, Francesco Bagnaia twenty-fifth and Lorenzo Baldassarri twenty-eighth.
