Moto3 Misano, Free Practice 2: Kent ahead of Antonelli
Excellent session for the Italian colours, three Italians in the top five, in addition to Antonelli, Fenati and Bastianini
Moto3 2015 GP San Marino and Rimini Riviera – Danny Kent (Honda) set the best time in the second free practice session of the Moto3 class of the San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix.
The world championship leader stopped the clock at a time of 1:43.097, a time that allowed him to beat our Niccolò Antonelli, rider of Team Ongetta Rivacold, by 0.182s. The rider from Cattolica was at the top of the time charts for a long time, demonstrating great mastery on his home circuit.
Behind him was the Portuguese Miguel Oliveira, who in turn preceded our Romano Fenati (KTM Sky VR46) and Enea Bastianini, the fastest this morning with the Team Gresini Honda.
Sixth time for the Spaniard Efren Vazquez, seventh for the Japanese Hiroki Ono and eighth for the South African Brad Binder. Closing out the Top Ten are two Italians, Andrea Migno, riding the second KTM of Team SKy VR46 and Francesco Bagnaia, riding the Mahindra of Team Aspar.
Andrea Locatelli with the second Honda of Team Gresini is twelfth, while Alessandro Tonucci with the Mahindra is fifteenth.
