Moto3 Jerez 2015 QP: Enea Bastianini he stopped just 53 thousandths of a second from the second row due to traffic on the decisive lap for the time attack. The seventeen-year-old from Rimini was hindered by a series of riders who were proceeding slowly and who did not allow him to do better than his 1'47.251, still only four tenths away from the pole position of the very young Frenchman Fabio Quartararo.
However, the situation of his teammate, Andrea Locatelli, is different, 23rd (1'47.962) and having difficulty with the feeling with his Honda NSF250RW due to today's high temperatures.

“I'm not happy – explained Enea Bastianini – because during the session I always found a lot of traffic and many drivers who hindered me; even during my last attempt at a fast lap many drivers suddenly slowed down in front of me and I almost hit someone! We'll still start quite far ahead, but there's a bit of a bitter taste left in our mouth because we could easily have achieved more today. I feel comfortable on the saddle ahead of the race, although there is always room for improvement, especially regarding corner exit and the bike's behavior in fast corners, where we are not yet perfectly comfortable. In the Warm Up we will try something different again, even if the temperatures will be different to those we will encounter in the race, and we will see how it goes."

“Yesterday, like this morning, I was optimistic: I thought I could improve during qualifying, but instead I struggled and suffered some problems – said Andrea Locatelli. I didn't feel comfortable while riding: probably with the higher temperatures the bike started to behave differently; I felt completely different compared to this morning and I couldn't find the right feeling. At the end of the session I tried to adapt to try for the fastest lap, but it wasn't enough and so tomorrow we'll start from behind again. The situation is not as bad as it was in Argentina: the gaps are limited and we are all very close, but it is clear that it will not be easy. I'll have to fight, trying to recover positions in the first laps. Now we will try to understand what we missed for the fastest lap, after which we will try to prepare as best we can for the race."
