The Snipers Team concluded qualifying for the Sachsenring Grand Prix, with Romano Fenati fifth fastest. Tony Arbolino in difficulty, forced to recover from 19th position:
Romano Fenati: “Excellent qualifying, I had fun, I pushed hard. In the first run they eliminated me a lap because I went to the green but then I managed to make up for it in the second run. The grid position is good and we will fight for the best possible result."
Tony Arbolino: “Second difficult day, I had problems especially in the second sector where the tempo is usually made. With this time, in Q2, we would have started eighth, so it happened like in Jerez. Let's try to find what we're missing to be ready for the race."
