Moto3 | GP Argentina FP2: Italian treble, Bastianini ahead of Dalla Porta and Arbolino
The Italian flag is in command, with Niccolò Antonelli also in the Top Ten
Moto3 GP Argentina Free Practice 2 – Second free practice session of the Moto3 class still in the name of Italian colors at Termas de Rio Hondo, theater of the Argentine Grand Prix.
After Marco Bezzecchi's best time in FP1, FP2 was dominated by the Italian flag. In fact, the best time went to Enea Bastianini, who on the Honda of Team Leopard preceded his team-mate Lorenzo Dalla Porta and Tony Arbolino (Honda Marinelli Snipers Team).
Bastianini lapped in 1:50.397, giving a good 0.408s and 0.461s to his two compatriots. Fourth time for the Belgian Livio Loi (KTM Reale Avintia Academy), who preceded the Qatari winner Jorge Martin, Kaito Toba and Gabriel Rodrigo.
Closing out the Top Ten are the Malaysian Adam Norrodin, our Niccolò Antonelli and Nakarin Atiratphuvapat.
The other Italians are further back; Andrea Migno (KTM Angel Nieto Team) is sixteenth, Fabio Di Giannantonio (Honda Gresini) twenty-first, with the latter followed by Dennis Foggia (KTM Sky Racing Team Vr46) and Marco Bezzecchi (KTM Redox Pruestelgp).
Nicolò Bulega, riding the second KTM of Team Sky Racing Team Vr46, finished twenty-sixth.
