The third and final free practice session of the Moto2 class has also just ended. The winner of the Qatar GP Stefan Bradl returns to the top on the Jerez de la Frontera track. The German with a time of 1' 42.903 takes the lead in the standings, giving 4 tenths of a lead to Marc Marquez. The Spaniard surprisingly follows in second place: Marquez in fact remained in tenth position for almost the entire session, only to then recover in the very last available minutes. Third time goes to the Swiss Thomas Luthi, while Yuki Takahashi follows in fourth place, both with a gap still in the order of 4 tenths.

Good day for Italians. In fact, in the top ten we find three home riders: the first is Claudio Corti in sixth position, followed by Michele Pirro in seventh. Tenth time instead for Simone Corsi, while Iannone and De Angelis remain further back at the moment. The reigning Supersport champion Kenan Sofuoglu also made a clear recovery: the Turk climbed up to ninth position, suffering a gap from the top of 9 tenths. The other ex-series derivative rider, Max Neukirchner, did not achieve positive results today: the German was only 34th.

Of note is the display of the red flag ten minutes before the start of the session. Pol Espargarò and wildcard rider Odendaal were involved in a collision (without consequences), with the South African's bike remaining in the middle of the track. It was therefore necessary to interrupt the tests to remove the vehicle from the track and therefore restore safety conditions for the pilots.
