Moto2 | Japanese GP Warm Up: Luthi precedes Marini and Bulega
The world championship leader, Marquez, is eighth
Moto2 GP Japan Motegi Warm Up – Tom Luthi wins the Warm Up of the Moto2 class Japanese Grand Prix, sixteenth stage of the 2019 MotoGP world championship.
The Swiss driver stopped the clock at 1:50.996 ahead of the two standard bearers of the Sky VR46 team, poleman Luca Marini and Nicolò Bulega.
Brad Bider on KTM finished in fourth position, ahead of teammate Jorge Martin and Lorenzo Baldassarri (FlexBox HP40). Seventh time for Remy Gardner, ahead of world championship leader Alex Marquez (Marc Vds) and Augusto Fernandez. Tetsuta Ngashima, who crashed fortunately without consequences, completes the top ten.
Fabio Di Giannantonio (Speed Up) finishes 17th ahead of Enea Bastianini (ItalTrans), 18th, Andrea Locatelli, 20th. Marco Bezzecchi (Tech3) is 22nd and precedes Stefano Manzi (MV Agusta) and Mattia Pasini (Tasca Racing)
