Moto2 | Gp Austin Qualifying: Canet takes pole, Foggia is seventh

Moto2 GP of the Americas Qualifying – Aron Canet obtained the pole position of the Moto2 class Americas Grand Prix, third stage of the 2024 MotoGP world championship.
On the Austin circuit, the World Championship leader outwitted Fermin Aldeguer (SpeedUp) at the last lap, stopping the clock at a time of 2:07.631, a time 0.109s better than the rider from Luca Boscoscuro's team.
For Canet (Fantic Racing) this is the ninth pole position in Moto2, the second of the season after that in Qatar. Also on the front row was Sergio Garcia with the Boscoscuro of Team MT Helmets – MSI.
Albert Arenas (Gresini) opens the second row, where we also find Team OnlyFans American Racing riders Joe Roberts and Marcos Ramirez.
Good qualifying for Dennis Foggia who finished seventh on the Kalex of Team Italtrans, ahead of Alonso Lopez (SpeedUp) and Manuel Gonzalez (Gresini).
The session of Tony Arbolino (Marc VDS) and Celestino Vietti was more difficult, as they crashed without consequences in the crucial phase and finished in 11th and 15th position.
