Moto2 | Gp Austin Test 2: Aldeguer the fastest, Foggia 12th the best of the Italians
The SpeedUp driver preceded Ogura and Dixon, Vietti forced to Q1
Moto2 GP of the Americas Practice 2 – Fermin Aldeguer (SpeedUp) after having achieved the best time in the “Test 1” session of the Moto2 class on the Austin circuit (the venue for the American Grand Prix, third stage of the 2024 MotoGP), he was also the fastest in the last session which precedes the qualifications.
The SpeedUp driver set the best lap with a time of 2:07.543, a time that allowed him to precede the Japanese Ai Ogura (MT Helmets – MSI) and Jake Dixon (Aspar), 26 thousandths and 0.208 behind respectively. s.
Marcos Ramirez and Joe Roberts, OnlyFans American Racing riders, finished in fourth and fifth position ahead of Alonso Lopez's Boscoscuro and the Kalexes of Manuel Gonzalez (Gresini), Jeremy Alcoba (VR46 Master Camp), Aron Canet (Fantic Racing). Tenth time for Sergio Garcia's Boscoscuro (MT Helmets – MSI).
Barry Baltus (Racing GP), our Dennis Foggia (Italtrans) and Tony Arbolino (Marc VDS) and Bo Bendsneyder (GAS Up Team) also qualified directly for Q2. All the other drivers will have to go through Q1, including our Celestino Vietti (Red Bull Ajo).
