Moto2 | GP Assen FP3: Raul Fernandez ahead of Bezzecchi, Vietti is ninth
Arbolino, Di Giannantonio and Dalla Porta also directly access Q2
Moto2 Dutch GP Assen Free Practice 3 – Raul Fernandez set the best time in the third and final free practice session of the Moto2 class Dutch Grand Prix, the ninth round of the 2021 MotoGP world championship.
The Red Bull Ajo Team driver, who stopped the clock at a time of 1:36.511, preceded our Marco Bezzecchi (Sky Racing Team VR0.199) by 46s.
Third time for Jorge Navarro's Speed Up, followed by Somkiat Chantra (Team Asia) and Sam Lowes (Marc VDS). World championship leader Remy Gardner is sixth and ahead of rookie Ai Ogura (Team Asia).
Closing out the Top Ten are Augusto Fernandez and our rookies Celestino Vietti (Sky Racing Team VR46) and Tony Arbolino (Intact GP).
Fabio Di Giannantonio (Gresini), Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Italtrans), Marcel Schrotter (Intact GP) and Thomas Luthi (SAG Team) also directly access the final qualifying phase (Q2).
They will have to pass through the Q1 trap, among others: Nicolò Bulega (Gresini), Simone Corsi (MV Agusta Forward), Stefano Manzi (Pons), Albert Arenas (Aspar) and Joe Roberts (Italtrans).
