Moto2 | GP Brno FP1: Nagashima precedes Binder, Pasini is fourth
Only two Italians in the Top Ten of the FP1 of the Moto2 class Czech Republic GP
Moto2 GP Czech Republic Free Practice 1 – The Japanese Tetsuta Nagashima (SAG Team) set the best time in the first free practice session of the Moto2 class in Brno, where the Czech Republic Grand Prix, the tenth round of the 2019 MotoGP World Championship, is scheduled for Sunday.
The #45 stopped the clock at a time of 2:02.080, putting Brad Binder's KTM and Augusto Fernandez's Kalex of Team Pons behind him, 0.060s and 0.061s behind respectively.
Excellent fourth time for Mattia Pasini, from this race on the Tasca Racing Kalex, a bike that belonged to Simone Corsi.
The #54 is ahead of the Swiss Thomas Luthi and our Nicolò Bulega, Sky Racing Team VR46. Closing out the Top Ten are Iker Lecuona, Jorge Navarro, Sam Lowes and Remy Gardner.
Andrea Locatelli (Team Italtrans) and Luca Marini (Sky Racing Team VR46) occupy the eleventh and twelfth position, while Fabio Di Giannantonio and Lorenzo Baldassarri are in fourteenth and fifteenth place.
World championship leader Alex Marquez is struggling, only nineteenth. The other Italians are further back. Stefano Manzi (MV Agusta) is twenty-first, Marco Bezzecchi (Red Bull Tech 3) twenty-third and Enea Bastianini (Team Italtrans) twenty-fifth.
