Carlos Checa: 'At the moment this problem with the rear is my weak point'….

Carlos Checa, who had qualified in fifth position for the race
today, he started at the green exiting very well from his position in
grid to be among the first at the first corner. His charge was
unfortunately interrupted when his teammate Melandri is
crashed on the fifth lap and Checa had to suddenly move wide to avoid it. TO
halfway through the race the Spaniard was now too far behind to be able to seriously
fighting for the podium and was delayed in a race

“I started well and managed to stay with the leading group,”
Checa said. “Then Marco had that unfortunate fall, which he had on me
knocked out the rhythm. I kept pushing, but I started to lose stability
at the rear, a situation that I struggled to manage. Towards the
at the end of the race I got used to it and managed to find a better rhythm
constant. Right now this problem with the rear is mine
weak point and so my goal now is to improve in that area
and to be able to maintain a good race pace in the next GPs.”
