SBK | Dutch GP Race 2, Bassani: “It was a difficult weekend”

SBK Holland Kawasaki – Axel Bassani finished Race 2 of the Dutch Grand Prix, third stage of the 2024 World Championship, in 18th position.

Bassani, who started from 16th position on the grid, thought he would improve on his bike in the dry. But an early mistake compromised his hopes of moving up the rankings.

“It was a difficult weekend, also due to the weather, which always alternated between wet and dry. It wasn't easy to understand everything, also because it was the first time here with Kawasaki. On Sunday in Race Two the feeling with the bike was a little better and the position of the bike was much better because we tried something new. When I tried to push I made a mistake and went completely off the track, and restarted last. I just wanted to finish the race to try to get some information and data for the next races. We will remain positive and continue to work to find a good way forward."
