Even in Suzuka yes

By now we know, the world championship speaks more and more Italian and when the
newspapers and television bring us the salient facts of the races and
the rankings of the various classes, especially the queen one,
it is now obvious to hear the names of Max
biaggi
, Valentino Rossi o Loris Capirossi.

However, we would never have dreamed of being able to see the protagonist of the grueling event
Suzuka Eight Hours race one of our drivers, a great of the 500 class, the one who has now become the
darling of the Japanese.

No one doubted his class and his skill, but the mastery demonstrated in
steering the Honda H-VTR1000SPW managed to amaze even Valentino Rossi himself
who, together with his teammate Colin Edwards, managed to bring to Italy,
for the first time ever, victory in the Suzuka Eight Hours.

With the triumph also came the new track record in this specialty, with 217 laps
in 8 hours and a total distance of 5.864km.

And to think that the driver from Pesaro even said he was "annoyed" about taking part in the race,
instead of going on holiday like all his colleagues in the 500;

but, as Valentino himself states... "if I really have to participate, I will do my best".

And, as we have seen, the world championship leader has kept his promise,
giving his team that extra edge that allowed them to win the race.

According to Rossi himself:
“I have dreamed of this victory for a long time…
Being the first Italian to win in Japan makes me even happier.”
And then what?
“Now I'll rest for a few days and recharge my batteries, there's a 500 world championship waiting for me!”

We'll see how it ends...
