The WTR Team is pleased to officially announce the new technical-commercial partnership agreement stipulated with the Indian team Ten10 Racing, which was signed in the weeks preceding the end of the 2010 world championship season. The collaboration will develop for 3 years starting from 2011, for which the team will line up on the 125cc starting grid two promising young riders who will represent their respective nations in the world: Italy and India. The team will also take on the new name of "WTR-Ten10 Racing Team", a choice intended to represent the strong cohesion of the partnership: passion for sport, the same principles, ambitions and future growth prospects are the shared common values. Although the season has just come to an end, preparations for next year are already at an advanced stage of completion to the great satisfaction of those responsible, a result that was possible to achieve thanks to the strong commitment and enthusiasm shown by both parties who look positively towards a future oriented in the same direction, side by side. Among the commitments undertaken there are, in addition to the 125cc class, the continuation in 2012 in Moto3 and the intention to also be able to resume in Moto2, whose participation was suspended for 2011.

Thanks to this collaboration, WTR Team together with Ten10 Racing will lead India towards its first participation in the history of the MotoGP world championship, strongly determined to soon become a protagonist that cannot help but be talked about. Castellucci L., WTR Team manager: “I am really very happy with the agreement made with Ten10 Racing. This collaboration is the realization of an important project which also gives us the opportunity to participate in the World Championship with a young Indian rider, an event which is unprecedented in the history of World Motorcycling. Also completing the training is a well-known young Italian driver.

All this was possible thanks to Ten10 who, like us, ardently believe in this sport and its strong communicative value. I warmly thank the Ten10 Racing manager for believing in us, hence the passion and dedication poured into our project, the same feelings that have always distinguished WTR since its birth." Ramji G., Ten10 Racing manager: “I am thrilled with the opportunity presented to us with the WTR Team. We will be the first ever Indian team with an Indian rider to take part in the MotoGP World Championship. The collaboration between the two teams is fueled by common objectives and the same passion for sport. By placing ourselves in the hands of a highly experienced team such as WTR, this will be a great learning opportunity for us and the local racing sector. Also like WTR-Ten10 Racing, this project marks a milestone in Indian sporting history. I want to thank Mr. Castellucci and his team for having approached a team from India; I am very confident that this partnership of ours will prove to be competitive and capable of generating many new Indian and Italian talents.”.
