MotoGP | Valentino Rossi retirement: Lorenzo, Stoner and Pedrosa speak
Stoner: "My successes are even more valuable having raced against you"
After the announcement of Valentino Rossi's retirement at the end of the season, the Doctor received hundreds of messages of support. From Doctor Costa's beautiful letter to Max Biaggi's invitation to have a drink together while remembering the old days, without obviously forgetting the MotoGP and VR46 Riders Academy riders.
In these hours, riders Dani Pedrosa, Jorge Lorenzo and Casey Stoner, historic rivals of Valentino Rossi (you will remember that they were nicknamed "The Fantastic 4", ed.) also sent a message to the Doctor.
“It was an honor and a great challenge to face you competing at the highest level for all these years! Congratulations on your amazing career!”.
“End of an era. On the track the 4 of us were equally fast, but in terms of charisma and transcendence @valeyellow46 is at the level of Jordan, Woods, Ali or Senna. Enjoy this new chapter, legend!”
“You have undoubtedly been one of my biggest rivals, my successes in Motogp are even more valuable having raced against you @valeyellow46 We have had some incredibly tough battles over the years and I have been able to learn a lot from you. I hope you enjoy the next chapter of your life, because there's still a lot to enjoy.".
