Torres and Fores engaged in Barcelona for the Superprestigio Dirt Track
The Spanish riders will challenge Marc Marquez and the American champion Brad Baker
This year too, Barcelona hosts the exciting Superprestigio Dirt Track competition, which sees some of the famous faces of the MotoGP and a large representation of MotoAmerica riders compete in a festive atmosphere.
In the last edition the 2016 MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez lost by a narrow margin against the AMA Pro FlatTrack rider, Brad Baker, so the five-time world champion will want to take back the crown and from the first tests it seems which will be a test of strength between the two in the Super Final, with the RFME Spanish Flat Track Cup Champion, Ferran Cardus, a possible outsider.
In addition to the aforementioned Marc Marquez and Brad Baker, as every year there will be a large representation of Motosport taking part in the event: the MotoGP line-up sees Alex Marquez (Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS), Joan Mir (Leopard Racing) , Fabio Di Giannantonio (Gresini Racing Moto3), the two former 125 world champions Julian Simon and Nico Terol, the 2016 Moto2™ rookie Xavi Vierge and the Moto3™ rider Jorge Martin.
Representing the MotoAmerica Championship will be Toni Elias, 2 Moto2010 World Champion (Yoshimura Suzuki), while the WorldSBK charge is led by Jordi Torres (Althea BMW) and Xavi Fores (Barni Racing Team), finally from WorldSSP there will be Kyle Smith.
All the conditions for a great show seem to be there!
