Superprestigio Dirt Track, tomorrow we go to the track

There is less than a month left until the end of the winter break for the MotoGP riders and some of them did not miss the opportunity to bring their return to the track earlier. On this occasion, however, some of the big names in the world championship will compete on unusual terrain: no asphalt circuits, this time it will be a dirt track race.

Organized at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, ​​the Superprestigio Dirt Track will be held on Saturday 11 January, in which riders of the caliber of Marc Marquez, Pol Espargaró and Maverick Viñales will participate. Lorenzo Baldassarri, registered in the Moto2 category for 2014 with Gresini, will be the only Italian present in the category reserved for World Championship riders.

To make the occasion even more special, among the participants there will be Brad “the Bullet” Baker, the number 1 of the US Dirt Track, ready for his first challenge on Spanish soil.

During this week the final preparations were made for the speed stars, who made the most of the time available to train on various Spanish tracks.

In addition to those registered in the Superprestigio category, the event also features interesting names in the Junior category, mainly intended for Moto3 riders of the Spanish Speed ​​Championship, and in the Open category.
