The winter break is coming to an end and the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship teams are ready to start again with the first series of winter tests, which will take place on the Jerez de la Frontera circuit from 24 to 25 January.
There will be 12 teams between WorldSBK, World Supersport and European Superstock 1000 present in Andalucia: the Kawasaki Racing Team, the Aruba.it Racing –Ducati, the Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK Team, the Milwaukee Aprilia, the Althea BMW Racing Team, the Barni Racing Team, the Kawasaki Puccetti Racing and the Honda World Superbike Team.
It will be interesting to get a taste of what we can expect in 2017, with over half the teams on track.

Some WorldSSP teams will also reach Southern Spain, namely CIA Landlord Insurance Honda, GRT Yamaha Official WorldSSP Team, Kawasaki Puccetti Racing, Orelac Racing VerdNatura and Aruba.it Racing – Junior Team of STK1000. Everyone will thus have two days of testing available to work on the new features, on a track that will be quite full.

A few days later some teams will move to Portugal, to the Portimao circuit where WorldSBK will return this year: it will be the only opportunity to see the MV Agusta Reparto Corse team on track before Australia, given that it will not participate in the other tests scheduled.
Also confirmed in the Algarve are the Milwaukee Aprilia, Barni Racing Team and Althea BMW Racing Team.

The last test session, before the official ones at Phillip Island, on 20 and 21 February in the presence of all the teams, a few days before the start of the championship, will again take place in Jerez de la Frontera, the first and second February day.
