Superbike: Toni Elias joining the JR Racing Team for 2015
The Spanish driver is ready for a new challenge in the team which will be managed by two-time World Champion Troy Corser
Former Moto2 World Champion Toni Elias will once again be at the start of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship in 2015, at the controls of the BMW designed by JR Racing Team.
The 31-year-old Spanish rider from Manresa has been the protagonist of an up-and-down season with the Red Devils Aprilia team and now hopes to become one of the podium contenders for next year.
“I will be at the start of the WSBK Championship again in 2015” – he declared Toni Elias – “And I'm very happy to do it with the JR Racing team on a BMW. It's a great opportunity for me to grow and take another step towards the goals I have set for myself. Right now I think of 2015 as my best season and I can't wait to make my debut. It's a new team entering the Championship, and this is positive, the bike is competitive and I'm honored to be able to work with a double world champion like Troy Corser. I can't wait to get started!”
