Today also marks the end of the two days of official testing, which took place at the Autodromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimao, which once again saw the usual Tom Sykes leading the timed rankings, with a 1'42.719s recorded already in the morning

The current World Champion and teammate Loris Baz, third on the day, concentrated on the lines and set-up of the ZX-10R, as neither of them had new components to test, unlike the EVO category leader David Salom, who was responsible for testing parts that will most likely be part of the Kawasaki of the near future.

Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri, second and fourth today, completed the testing program started in the pre-season, even if they were hindered by two crashes: if yesterday it was the Italian rider's turn, today it was the Frenchman's turn to close the two days early, after a crash at the end of the morning session.

The Ducati Superbike Team completed the two days without a hitch with Davide Giugliano and Chaz Davies grappling with new and old tuning solutions.

Excellent news for the MV Agusta Reparto Corse with Claudio Corti back in great form after the accident that forced him to miss the Laguna Seca round: 93 laps put together in this two-day test, which concluded today with the seventh chrono.

The other EVO riders Alessandro Andreozzi (Team Pedercini Kawasaki) and Jeremy Guarnoni (MRS Kawasaki) continued their work on the track in order to increase the feeling with their EVO ZX-10Rs.

Appointment on September 5th with free practice for the tenth round of the Championship on the Jerez de la Frontera circuit.
