Aprilia, Kawasaki, Ducati and Suzuki concluded the three days of collective Superbike testing on the Aragon track. The fastest of these first tests with a view to 2013 (where 17" Pirelli tires will be mandatory) was Tom Sykes, Kawasaki Provec rider.

The 2012 world vice-champion in fact stopped the clock at a time of 1'57.6, a time already achieved on Day 2. Immediately behind and just two tenths behind we find the Roman Max Biaggi, two-time world champion of production-based derivatives. The Aprilia rider has tried some new things in recent days but has worked above all to adapt his RSV4 to the new Pirelli tyres, although according to the Roman the main work to readapt the bike to the new tires will be on the electronics.

The third overall time in the tests went to Leon Camier with Suzuki. The British rider lapped in 1'58.1, putting the second official Aprilia behind him, that of Eugene Laverty and that of the Roman Michel Fabrizio, former BMW rider and now on the RSV4 of Team Red Devils Roma.

Carlos Checa, on track with the new 1199 Panigale, finished seventh and on the last day he also had a technical problem with his bike which flooded part of the track with oil. After this failure he was no longer able to improve, also preceded by Loris Baz's Kawasaki.
