Superbike, Misano Test. After an exciting Pirelli Riviera di Rimini Round, the action doesn't stop at Misano: today a day of official Dorna testing is scheduled which will see all the main teams involved.

After the double achieved yesterday, the reigning champion Jonathan Rea is already ready to take to the track again together with his teammate Tom Sykes: for them a job with a view to 2017, concentrated on electronics.
KRT did not carry out the tests in Misano at the beginning of June but in Jerez de la Frontera: it will be useful for them to collect data from the new Ninja on different tracks.
Sykes will use this opportunity to further improve his performances, to be able to stay ahead of Rea in the next races and try to fight for the championship until the end.

Honda will also take to the track with Michael van der Mark and Nicky Hayden, who have already carried out a test in Misano at the beginning of the month: the objective this time is to concentrate on the bike, testing rather significant changes in the set up and other elements that it has not I was able to try it on Friday. Hayden also wants to gather as much information as possible before his home round at Laguna Seca, his first in Worldsbk.

After a fairly complicated weekend, Chaz Davies and Davide Giugliano will also be on the track to try new solutions for the Panigale 1199 and resolve the problems that emerged in the two races that have just ended.
Also not leaving the circuit were Alex De Angelis and Lorenzo Savadori, of the IodaRacing team, Alex Lowes and Niccolò Canepa, who continues to replace Sylvain Guintolì, waiting for the Frenchman to fully recover and regain his place in the Pata Yamaha team.

Jordi Torres confirmed, Markus Reiterberger will be present instead, struggling with a bad fracture of the D12 vertebra which will force him to miss the Laguna Seca round: in his place today, and in the USA, there will be Raffaele De Rosa, who races for the team Althea in STK1000 and is fresh from the controversy due to the contact with Leandro Mercado which meant that a certain podium for both of them was lost.
Race Direction also gave him a three-place penalty for the next STK1000 race and two points on his licence.
De Rosa will therefore use today's test to put the episode behind him and gain confidence with the bike ahead of the American races.
Finally, the Milwaukee BMW team will also be on track with Josh Brookes and Karel Abraham.
