At the MotorLand in Aragon, the first 2019 pre-season test ends due to the rain which stops the team's work: in fact, only two out of six riders took to the track: among these Chaz Davies who "gifts" the new Ducati Panigale V4 R first outing in wet conditions, completing 22 laps.

The other driver in action was Michael Ruben Rinaldi (BARNI Racing Team) who took to the track in the afternoon as the asphalt slowly began to dry, putting in 25 laps.

After leading the unofficial timesheets on the first day, Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK) and his new teammate Leon Haslam (Kawasaki Racing Team WorldSBK) decided not to take to the track today, postponing the work to the next test in Jerez, scheduled in ten days.

The two riders of the Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK team, Alex Lowes and Michael van der Mark, also decided not to take to the track.
