Superbike: Rea takes second free practice at Magny-Cours
Behind the new World Champion we find Chaz Davies and Tom Sykes fighting for second place in the standings
At the Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours, the scene of the penultimate round of the season, the second free practice sessions have just concluded which saw the new Champion, Jonathan Rea, set the best time ahead of Chaz Davies and Tom Sykes.
Behind the leading trio we find Leon Haslam three tenths behind the leader, Alex Lowes who is about to end his adventure with Suzuki in the Crescent team, and a good Niccolo Canepa sixth, seven tenths behind Rea.
Completing the top-10 are Jordi Torres, Matteo Baiocco, Luca Scassa, who replaces Giugliano in this round, and Ayrton Badovini.
The Cbr of the Pata team disappoint with Guintoli 12th and Van der Mark 14th.
