The Pata Honda team was the first to officially begin preparations for the 2015 Superbike World Championship with a three-day test that started yesterday on the Portimao circuit and will continue until tomorrow, Friday 16 January

The team brought to Portugal the official line up made up of reigning champions Sylvain Guintoli and Michael Van Der Mark, who will obviously have the new CBR1000RR at their disposal, already tested at the end of November.

The official times were not released: the two riders still took advantage of Twitter to immortalise the first laps of the track and their bikes in the pits.
Of note is a nice tweet, complete with "smileys", by Sylvain Guintoli who asks Tom Sykes for an opinion on the graphics of the number #1 on his new Honda CBR1000RR.
The response from the KRT standard bearer has not yet been received!

With the winter break over and with the opening race in Australia scheduled for just over a month now, virtually all teams will be back on track in the next few days.

After Portimao, attention will fall on Motorland Aragon where from 19 to 20 January the PATA Honda team will once again take to the track together with Kawasaki, the Grillini Kawasaki team and Pedercini Kawasaki.
