Tom Sykes: “I like watches, it's something worth fighting for! Today we did a really good job and I can't hide that it had been quite tough these days: it's the first time since the start of the season that we've had very hot conditions, but little grip. The weekend had started badly, we were slow, I would say almost embarrassing. Today a bit of everything happened in qualifying, but when it came time to close, the guys worked at their best and I was able to make the time I needed.”

Jonathan Rhea: “Can't complain, that ride from Tom was incredible! As for me, we achieved our goal of being on the front row, the team worked hard on the bike for tomorrow's race at the track that almost ended my season last year. Coming back this year, qualifying and being on the front row makes me very satisfied!”

Ayrton Badovini: “I am very happy because this result comes in a difficult moment for me and for the team and we still have to work a lot to win. We've done quite well in the race so far, but we weren't fast enough on one lap, so until today a third place in Superpole has been impossible.”
