Superbike, Pirelli Riviera di Rimini Round. It was a very positive day of free practice at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, scene of the eighth round of the championship, Markus Rieterberger and the Althea BMW Team, with the German driver entering the top 3 times for the first time in the season , with the second reference right behind Hayden.

Great satisfaction, more than understandable for Reiterberger, who with the 1'35.385 recorded today also relieved himself of the challenge of keeping someone like Tom Sykes, a magician in the flying lap, behind him.

Teammate Jordi Torres was no exception either: the Spaniard enters the second heat of the Tissot-Superpole with the fifth overall time, 1'35.447, just over a tenth behind the German, and will try to do a good job tomorrow in qualifying, aware that the BMW S 1000 RR seems to adapt well to this circuit.
For the STK1000 Raffaele De Rosa closed free practice in first position thanks to a time of 1'37.082, and is aiming for another weekend as category leader.

“Today went very well, we have a good basic set-up and we only made one change regarding the electronics. We tried various types of tyres, with positive results, and in the final phase I was able to do a series of fast laps" – he said Markus Reiterberger – “I feel comfortable on the bike and the track offers good grip. Misano is special for me, after being a wildcard here last year, now I would like to have two good races this weekend, and I'm happy to have qualified directly for Superpole 2 tomorrow. We'll see what we can do..."

“Today I finished the day well and we did a good job. Even if we manage to do a good fast lap, we still have to improve our race pace and work to reduce the movements of the bike" – he commented Jordi Torres – “We made a big step today, between the morning and the afternoon, and the bike has stabilized, but we need a further step forward. I don't know how tomorrow will go, but I know that the race will be long and we will do our best as always."

“It went pretty well today. In the afternoon, even with the used tire used in the morning and with which we did many laps, we went well and this was very satisfying" – he said Raffaele De Rosa – “When we changed the tire this afternoon, we managed to be faster even though the conditions were not optimal and there was a lot of wind. We still need to improve a little, even if I've already felt better with the new pieces we brought here. I am happy with how we are working and I hope we can continue in this way.”
