Superbike Misano: Fabio Menghi will try to improve in speed

The rider from Romagna finished Race 1 in eighteenth position and when met by WorldSBK.com he said:
“It went quite well, my goal was to finish the race. I actually wanted to do a little better, but it was hard and I'm happy I finished it. I gritted my teeth because after four months of stopping it was tough, I have some general ailments, but I'm happy because I missed this world."

Regarding the feeling with his bike he explained: “The Ducati is still one step ahead of me, I need to ride and understand it. For me it's the first real racing bike, it's beautiful. Tomorrow I will mainly focus on the time trial and try to lower my race time. I can't have bigger goals, step by step I want to improve without getting too paranoid and let's see how it goes. This was also my first race as a dad and he gave me an edge."

Fabio Menghi will therefore try to improve in Race 2, start at 13pm.
